Korean Beer Review - Cafri

12 oz can poured into a small glass

Appearance: Cafri takes on a golden yellow appearance on the rare, probably accidental, occasion it is purchased from Mini Mart and released from its can. That one adage goes, "a picture is worth a thousand words." As such, rather than using euphemism to compare Cafri to another, similarly colored fluid, please refer to the above picture and fill in the gap with one of those thousand words.

Cafri looks like _ _ _ _ _.

The head is virtually non-existent. However, if one pours from the height of approximately one foot into the glass, a synthetic froth about the width of a child's pinky bubbles up and, leaving doubt to whether it ever actually existed, quickly vanishes.

Smell: The aroma is most comparable to the scent of evaporated rain from a heavily trafficked highway.

Taste: Water has a neutral flavor, but if water could develop a mild bitterness, perhaps through the use of a chemical additive such as Gypsum, the simple taste of Cafri would be replicated.

Mouthfeel: While it violates sound judgement to allow Cafri to linger in the mouth beyond a few seconds, its brief mouth presence resembles a staled sparkling water.

Overall: If you want to drink a can of Cafri, cease drinking for the night and switch to a glass of water or Pocari Sweat
